School camps create an opportunity for children to build leadership skills and learn to be independent. School camps are also meant for fun and entertainment. They are an opportunity for children to get away from the hustle and bustle of school life and spend time with their friends in a fun, activity filled environment. Here are a few reasons why school camps are fun and entertaining:

The activities are endless

On school camps, children complete activity after activity, having fun all day, every day. Of course, the children get breaks and relaxation periods between obstacle courses and other entertaining activities, but during this time they are still active. While they relax, they will be able to sit around tables eating breakfast, lunch or dinner with their closest friends, or they could be roasting marshmallows around a campfire. Whatever the moment, they will always be busy and entertained.

It sparks creativity

Some of the activities encourage the children to get creative. This could be by doing something as simple as painting a picture or by doing something a little more complex, like building a raft. These activities will allow children to show off their creativity and will allow them to relax.

They experience challenges

On school camps children are given the opportunity to help and be helped by peers in activities that pose a challenge to them. Not only are they given responsibility in these challenges, they are having fun with friends and entertaining themselves by finding unique ways to complete the challenge.

Bonds are created

The most important part of school camps is the time that they spend with their peers and the friendships which are created. Each activity allows them the time to bond with their peers and create bonds that will last for years to come.
